There has been 0 news coverage or press announcements concerning ….

    1. The old Eaton plant in Vinita has been vacant for the past few years. A company named Hypro, Inc will take over the facility. They will receive castings form local foundries and machine these castings for manufacturers such as John Deere and Cat. They will hire local for all positions including management, HR, quality, machinist, maintenance, shipping, etc. The jobs will encompass all aspects of a manufacturing facility. Hypro is located in Waterford, Wi. The exploratory interviews were held in the Workforce OK office in Miami. there plan is to have the plant up and running in this quarter with new equipment. They have approx 7 plants in the US.
    2. Trinity Industries will reopen? They have posted for an HR, materials manager, and plant manager so far. This should be a significant hire?
    3. Baker Hughes in Claremore is adding jobs and to build a R&D facility.

I do not have contacts in all of these – just to let you know of upcoming opportunities.

  6. Went to the Airgas Job fair. At the fair they are mainly looking for accounting, payroll and inventory types. Those are the only ones they will be interviewing there.

I know there are a few accountants in the group but can’t remember their names.

For any other position they recommend checking the website. Thought this info might be useful if you want to send it out.

Good session today by the way.

    Thanks
    Richard Perceful
